Two jets are doomed

Just last week, two Bundeswehr Eurofighters collided with air strikes and crashed near the village of Nossentiner Hütte in the district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. An instructor pilot had saved himself with the ejection seat and survived the accident injured. The pilot of the second machine crashed. The third machine remained intact and returned to Laage. No one was injured on the ground by the crashed machines, but wreckage was found on a sports field, a field and near a kindergarten in Nossentiner Hütte. The recovery of the aircraft wrecks and the search for the cause continue.

On Monday morning lifted two Eurofighter machines in Laage near Rostock to practice flights, as a spokesman for the squadron 73 "Steinhoff" said. There are supposed to be two starts every day, just like before the crash.
