The President's decision contained three main articles. Article 1 stipulates that the representation of women in each emirate in the Federal National Council shall not be less than 50% of the number of representatives of the Emirate. Article (2) of the resolution provides for the addition of a representative of the National Media Council to the membership of the National Elections Commission.
