The Baltic Sea resort of Timmendorfer Strand is celebrating its own Oktoberfest for the second time. The folk festival takes place however already in August. Franz Beckenbauer personally announced, according to the initiators, his coming for the 10th of August 2009. He wants to open the evening with an "O'zapft is". Even Hamburg's football idol Uwe Seeler comes with the same – to double barrel tap. From the 7th to the 16th of August, Dirndl, Krachlederne and Bayern-Bier should let the guests of the Baltic Sea forget that they are vacationing in Schleswig-Holstein.
