The National Meteorological Center (NMC) attributed the state of weather variability, which is characterized by heavy rainfall accompanied by a significant drop in temperature, in some emirates, to the confluence of two wind masses, one cold and coming from the sea, the other hot coming from land, Cumulus that quickly turned into rain.

The center pointed out to the UAE yesterday that the country was exposed to strong north and west winds on the sea, which was laden with moisture. Once it entered the dry areas, it met with other eastern winds. It became two blocks, the first wet and cold, while the second was warm. Resulting in a lot of cumulus clouds and condensation of moisture, especially with the presence of surface air pressure, creating air currents led to rainfall in various coastal areas of the state, started in Dubai and spread to the coastal cities in Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain.

The center pointed out that the places that were subjected to rain during the afternoon and even before the sun yesterday, also saw a significant drop in temperatures exceeded 10 degrees Celsius during the rains, and expected to be repeated these weather fluctuations today during the afternoon to sunset.

The National Meteorological Center (NMC) predicted that tomorrow's weather would be partly cloudy, sometimes with some cloudy clouds in the afternoon. It would remain wet at night until Saturday morning on some coastal and inland areas, with fog or light fog .
