With the wheelchair in the high wire park
For the first time, wheelchair users can experience the thrill of a high ropes course in Germany. According to the operator, the new handicap course in Schönberg in the Bavarian Forest is the first facility of its kind in Germany. Wheelchair users can access the 70-meter-long adventure facility at ground level. The high ropes course was built into a slope, so that visitors can move up to twelve meters in height. For the wheelchairs 80 centimeters wide plates were mounted in different heights instead of a high rope between the trees. In addition, obstacles such as seesaws, roundwoods and a suspension bridge were installed.
