The publication of Newsflare, a video recorded by surveillance cameras shows the courage of a man to save a small calf from the clutches of a predatory lion.
The incident took place in the Indian state of Gujarat when one of the villagers noticed a herd of frightened cows running after seeing the predatory animal, the news website reported.
The Indian rushed towards the place, where the cows came out, to discover the cause of the exotic fuss. The man picked up a stick from the ground, when the lion saw him in a small calf, and threw it at the beast who had fled immediately, leaving the calf safely.
The region, which witnessed this incident, has many blacks, according to the man, so it is not surprising, as the region is witnessing a similar attack on livestock from time to time.
"Living with these big cats has become a lifestyle in these places," he said.
