A 14-meter screen from Samsung to display movies without a projector
Samsung Electronics has unveiled the world's largest screen display, which operates without a projector in the United States.
According to the industry, Star Cinema Grill, which runs a series of movie theaters in the United States, unveiled "Onyx" the LED film screen at the Richmond Film Festival in Richmond, Texas on Thursday.
"Aladdin" and "Toy Story 4" were shown on the 14-meter wide Onyx screen and 7.2 meters long.
The company has already unveiled the giant Onyx screen in April last year at the Hollywood movie theater "Pacific Sitter Winnica", but its size is smaller by 10 meters and 5.4 meters wide.
The unveiling of the 14-meter-wide ONX screen is the fourth time after China, Malaysia and India.
The Unix, which works without a projector, receives movie enthusiasts in 34 movie theaters in 16 countries after being first staged at the Lute Cinema at the Tower Tower in Jamshil, South Seoul, in July 2017.
LED cinema is a technology that delivers high definition movies on the LED screen without a projector.
Onyx won recognition for its quality and was named in the list of Outstanding Technology Award of the Year selected by the Hollywood Society of Experts in the United States last year.
